Eirea

~Clan Matriarch~

Eirea is her clan's mother—literally and figuratively—and all-around chief executive officer. While her Fae mate, Chico, is technically her equal, he really doesn't like being involved in any serious clan decisions. He prefers being Clan Dad—often allowing "the kids" to slack off.
Her duties as the clan's matriarch include deciding where and when the group goes a-gathering, reviewing applications to join the clan, managing exports from the clan's burgeoning alchemy industry, arbitrating disputes, and assigning chores (e.g. cleaning the lair's midden pile, which often goes undone).
Eirea has battled a bit, though not as much as she'd like. Her clan duties take a great deal of her time, though she's happiest when guiding her young group toward greatness.
Her favorite personal activities include collecting rocks (with Labradorite and Raw Lapis Lazuli deadlocked for favorite), polishing rare items, and swimming between the peaks of the Crystalspine Reaches.
For a clan leader, Eirea is very quiet. Hatchlings learn, sometimes the hard way, that "quiet" doesn't mean "pushover".
She is a practical dragon, but loves a bit of lace and some glowing nails to show off her inner dancer, which only comes out under a full moon when all the other clan members are sleeping. The only other dragon to have witnessed this event is her mate, Chico.
