Jeronimo is a massive sweetheart. An older dragon, he's wise in the ways of his craft, but never spares the opportunity to learn something. His love for helping and healing is so great, it's most of what he talks about, though he means no harm by it.

He works alongside Princess Calendula, whom discovered a way to seal wounds with a needle and thread. While he was surprised she took to medicine and blood, he welcomes her in his practice. Jeronimo also mentors Joscelin, a dragoness whom he found starved and nearly dead and he nursed back to health. Upon her revival, she insisted on learning medicine, and much like her mentor, had an unwavering motivation to help dragonkind.


  origins.
Being born a pure white hatchling in a nest of a coatl pair, Jeronimo was tossed from the nest. While he wasn't evicted from the lair, he was shunned by the coatl clan for his color and was marked as a sign of bad luck. He was the scapegoat for anyone having a bad day, and became the butt of pranks. He broke his wing and various other bones in a harsh beating by a group of aggressors whom intended to render him unable to return to the clan. Jeronimo did not go back, being taken in by a kindly group of Imperials whom taught him medicine.

Jeronimo left the group after they persuaded him to go and teach others. He practiced alone by the Bazaar for a short time, and moved to the Akashaa after losing a hatchling and becoming severely depressed. Believing community would help him, the group embraced him, and he's since returned to his quiet, gentle self, and heals anyone who needs it. Jeronimo can usually be found tending a garden of medicinal herbs and watching hatchlings, whom enjoy bounding after him on walks as he harvests his herbs. His extreme patience makes him a good babysitter and he enjoys his time with any clan member.
