"we are like young volcanoes" 		Often when people think of an alchemist, they imagine some ancient crone, hunched over her cauldron, tossing in eye of newt and random ingredients with reckless abandon. This is not the case when it comes to the modern alchemist, and to be honest, Amethyst resents the comparison.
This Imperial strikes quite the regal figure. She’s always composed, and takes her appearance very seriously. Although she might be perceived as aloof or cold by some, Amethyst just likes everything to be in its proper place, and knows that a lady should conduct herself with grace.

Of course, she wasn’t born this way. Well, not entirely. Amethyst comes from a long line of blue-blooded Imperials. Even as a child, she knew her breeding and lineage were worth more than that of some other dragons. When she showed a knack for potions and plants, her parents immediately hired the best tutors across the land for her. For as long as she can remember, Amethyst has been under the care of nannies, tutors, and other caretakers. Her parents never had much time for her.

Despite the lack of a parental presence in her life, Amethyst grew up to be a relatively good and moral dragon. She rarely lied, and never cheated or intentionally hurt anyone else. What was the point, after all? Instead, she funneled her time into her studies and focused on her potions. Alchemy was the best distraction from loneliness.

Today, she collaborates with another prestigious alchemy master: PotionDrop. The two began by exchanging letters several months ago, and then they met up and started actually working together. Amethyst is currently helping the Coatl brew a potion to cure his mother’s lifelong illness.
