Durgan

An enigmatic dragon radiating magical potential. He doesn't speak of where he came from, only that he was 'wandering,' and happened upon Chaw's new lair just as she was making it at home. After some convincing, she allowed him to dwell in her home as long as he made himself useful, and so he did. With his growing magical abilities, he was more than capable of hunting, fighting and killing for the good of the lair, and so Chaw's new clan was born. It wasn't long before Chaw and Durgan, very nearly mortal enemies at the outset, grew to enjoy each others' company and became enamored with one another. A clutch soon arrived, and the clan is growing. To further bolster the clan's numbers, some newcomers have arrived seeking shelter, and have further added to Chaw's new family. While a bit suspicious of these new dragons, Durgan cannot say that he, too, wasn't in that same position not so long ago, and so keeps his feelings very well contained, and he behaves much like a clan's father figure, and attempts to guide the young hatchlings in the ways of hunting and survival in these blighted Wastelands.

With all the newcomers, Durgan has stopped keeping track, and simply keeps to his studies of the arcane. That is, until another mage, a dragon from the Arcane Flight. She offered Chaw a personal creation, but Durgan suspects duplicity. For now, under the pretense of a faithful husband and a willing servant of the clan, he watches both Chaw and Ratha, hopeful that one day he may use this unique circumstance to his advantage...
