Obin

Obi was not always a part of the Arcane Flight.

Once, he was a light dragon. Born in a flurry of sunshine and a breath, he came into the world with bright golden eyes and the sturdy beige skin of a dragon that was created to blend in among the broken stone of the Sunbeam Ruins.

However, it was not his true calling.

He spent many weeks wandering the ruins with his brethren, and eventually came across a female dragon to mate with. It would be the first of several; Obi always had problems settling down, it seemed, in both romance and home. After having three children with her, and two more with yet another light dragon, Ana, he finally decided he did not have a place here, among the ruins of a forgotten world.

At this point, Obi had gathered a considerable amount of followers. He was a charming character; intelligent, handsome, and brave. Though he was known as somewhat of a playboy, this did little to deter dragons from following him when he said he was gathering a clan together to move around and, perhaps, settle amongst the lands of the Arcane dragons.

Minoris, formerly a Plague dragon before being separated from his brother, was perhaps his closest companion, and was quick to offer to follow him. Ana, still slightly infatuated with the guardian, also placed her footprints after him. Quite a few other dragons that followed him remain in the clan today; Vader, Han, Leia, Shepard, Kaidan, Leviathan, and Palindrome were among a few.

Obi quickly became known as a dragon who would accept almost any outsider, regardless of where they'd originated. Shadow and Light dragons alike made their home among Obi's clan, all given a task and a job; if a dragon was known to be prejudiced against a particular breed, they never tended to last long in the clan before moving on.

Currently, Obi is the designated leader of the traveling Clan. The first dragon to join him, a Tundra female, has long since left and become a follower of the Arcanist. Now, Obi tends to spend most of his days with the Pearlcatcher Nohta, an young, intelligent, platinum-colored beauty with little tolerance for his wandering eye. His eye, however, does wander, and though he's had ten children with the violet-winged lady, Obi still hasn't found the love of his life.

He's young, yet. And a wandering dragon with an open mind does tend to find solace in many different kinds of dragons...

He spends most of his time protecting the Clan from hostile outsiders while gathering food, flirting with Nohta, or drowsing alongside Minoris, who has always been and remains his closest friend.
