Undyne

"My dear Kira, do calm down."

Personality: Calm dragon who never loses his temper, and always has to calm down his love, Kira. Loves to teach the young dragons what they need to know to survive. Hoards books and scrolls in his cave that Carpus and Atria like to sneak in and read in all hours of the day (but he knows they're reading them). Tries to understand the secrets of the universe, but he hasn't figured it out quite yet.

King of the clan

Intro to the Clan

The night was cold as the storm was passing, making it difficult for Kira to fly away from her attacker. The dragon was already exhausted from the day’s hunting, and now had to run for her life from the centaur below her, trying to kill her. He shot, and the arrow pierced her left leg, making her screech into the night like a demon. Unable to control herself she started to fall.
“Find that dragon! Kill it!” The centaur called to his brothers who immediately went to search for her…

Waking up, Kira found herself in a large cave, her leg covered in blood. She tried sitting up, but the pain was too much. She looked out of cave to see it was morning. Kira remembered the centaur who had shot her, who had almost taken her life, and she was suddenly furious. Ignoring the pain she stood up and flew to the opening of the cave and looked down.
Nothing but silence came from below, but she could tell that she was not alone. Kira turned to go back inside the cave, but when she turned, her fear was confirmed.

“Who are you.” A deep voiced called from the darkness inside. When Kira didn’t answer, the voice came closer and asked again, just as emotionless as before.

“I mean no harm. I only went to hunt for food for myself, but cruel monsters shot me down.” Kira explained to the voice.

The voice came out of the darkness into the light; another dragon, much bigger than Kira with red fur covering his body, his black wings exposed. “Where is your colony, fae dragon?” The red dragon asked.

Kira looked at him with pain in her eyes, “Gone. Attacked by the beastclans, only few of us escaped, but I have not seen any other dragon like myself ever since.” She said bitterly as she flew closer to the dragon.

The red dragon nodded his head, “That is what happened to my Tundra Clan, the beasts below attacked us two years ago and only I escaped to tell the tale.” There was a sense of regret in his voice.

“What is your name?” Kira asked the voice.

“Undyne, I have no clan, no family, but I live here in this cave carved into the mountain, I found it years ago and settled here.”

Kira looked at Undyne. He looked strong, strong enough to kill her. She was wondering why he hadn’t done that yet. She looked down at her bloody leg, “Could you help me with this?” she asked.

“Follow me,” Undyne said, turning and walking deeper into the cave. Kira followed. The cave was big with different openings that led to other parts of the cave. Undyne led Kira to a lake, a big lake right inside the cave. Food was stored around the lake, fish, meat, plants, even bugs.

“You found a cave with a lake?” Kira asked with humor behind her words.

Undyne nodded “This is a very peaceful place. You can wash here in the lake.”

After washing the blood from her leg, Kira and Undyne stayed in the ‘lake room’ for hours talking about their old clans and families that were long gone. “Kira, I think you should stay here with me, we could make our own clan.” Undyne suggested. It was a bold thing to ask. Kira was used to being alone and not having to answer to anyone when she went to collect food or supplies for herself, but being with a clan, creating a brand new clan with this dragon could help her and Undyne survive in this beast infested world.

“I will. We can have our own clan, a great clan.”
