ABOUT EMBER
As but a hatchling the young Ember scurried away from her home in the Emberglow Hearth. She has seen things that many full grown drakes have yet to. She has slept in shadows, trudged through snow, an early flyer-she braved harsh winds. She learned to swim, how to be guided by the stars.
Her life almost ended the first time when she braved a typhoon of a storm on the border of The Plateau and The Sea. Steam rose from her body every rush of wind threatening to blow out the barely flickering candle of her soul, every water drop daring to drench the wick. It was then that a strike of lightning struck a series of tall bamboo stocks, igniting them and birthing fire before her eyes. Awed and drawn to the warmth she made to rest from the storm there. As she inhaled the embers her eyes illuminated and her chest glowed with all the power of an inferno. She discovered the gift of breathing fire. And it ignited a spark within her soul giving her the will power to go on.
This new ability saved her a second time in the Icefeild. If not for it she surely would have frozen. But her flame stay lit and she made her way to the Starfall isles, where she was taught to navigate by the sky. from there she braved the wastelands and found herself facing the dark calling of the Tangled Woods.
Her spirits low she was subject of many torturous tricks from local drakes and plenty haunting laughter was directed her way. The longer she stayed in the dark the deeper into madness the forest seemed to make her plummet. Once more she was forced to rely on her spark. This time to guide her way.
Exiting the dark forest she found herself at the sunbeam ruins, where she was tough the history of the world and all that had played out between The Eleven. Every word of their tongues held her interest and she eagerly took in all the information.
At last, having learned all she could from them, she moved on. And her journey brought her to none other than the Viridian Labyrinth. Everything here seemed fragile and so flammable she found herself afraid to touch anything.
Discovered by Stella she was brought to meet with Anon's clan and fed till her tummy was full. She learned of their lifestyle, of their clan, how it came to be, how the lost or abandoned often found their way to the clan, and she too found herself longing to stay. And so here she was to live out the rest of her hatchlinghood and well into her dragonhood would she reside with them.
Millenniums from now Dragons will revere her in name such as The FlameThrower or The FireDancer.
