Biography
Clan Leader, Seeker
Despite being the clan leader, Mywrin does not spend much time with her people. To them she's a mystery. Most of the time she seems to ignore the demands of daily life, preferring Togar and others lead the clan through fighting, hunting, and surviving.
Yet, her comings and goings are relief and a blessing. Mywrin's silence leaves with her. Chatter rises from the clan. Pleasantries bloom into laughter. On it's back rides affection, strengthening friends and inaugurating lovers. The clan lazes in the afternoon sun, drinking in the wonder of life, at one with the Glade.
When Mywrin returns, she brings with her familiars or apparel. Odd charms and creatures find forever homes with their recipients. The clan, silent, inspects their gifts. They wonder how Mywrin came to know them so well.
Mywrin has been known to say, when pestered enough, her reason for founding Clan Aesthetic. After a minute of so of staring at the querent, she says, "Look at me. I am not vain, nor do I encourage my people to be. However, colors and patterns pleasing to the eye vibrate at a unique frequency. This is harmony. Despite our variations we are easy with each other: A most natural beauty. I feel I was created by the Gladekeeper with that intent in mind. "
"Yet," the querent continues, "We express our bonds more when you are gone! How can you be within harmony when you are outside of what we do? How do you fare knowing your absence helps us get along?"
Mywrin's eyes radiate presence. "I am no more outside that beauty than a flower's roots are somehow 'outside' it's petals. I only experience it in a different way." A smile crosses her weathered face. "I fare well for I am essential."
