Hexenbiest

I don't know what my mother thinks she can accomplish, trying to cure my father. He has given himself over to the plague entirely. He wears their armor, raises their banner, and bleeds their sickness. She wants so much to purify him, knows how he was in lighter days. But she isn't going to. He's too sick, and intends to stay that way. He doesn't want to get better.

I won't fall from the path as he did. I intend to learn magic like Mother, and use my abilities to help heal the world around me instead of spreading war and illness like Father.

I will not fail myself.
