~Bio~

Being one of the original founders of the clan wasn't easy despite the tales of glory and ease being passed down from one hatchling to the next. Being a role model for the generations to come wasn't in the job description either! It was said that once your duty was done and your legacy was left behind, you served beside your deity with the highest of honours. Unfortunately for Legend, that wasn't the case. Being one of the most talented warriors on the battlefield from which where you got your name, did have its perks and all, but it made you pretty hard to kill too. Growing through the ranks, competing against your competition and peers was all fun and games until it was time to go out to the battlefield. With their best armour on and a familiar by their side, nothing was supposed to go wrong.

War never changes though. The non-existent rules don't bend or allow for equality, it was kill or be killed. Legend had fought many battles with friends and even those he had mentored by his side, but not everybody would make it through. Some say it was destiny, others say it was with the blessings of their former queen Iris, some even leave it up to pure chance and luck! But through it all, Legend prevailed always coming out on top, even if the cost was being within inches of the end of his own life. The bruises fade, the wounds heal, temporary balance is even restored, Legend kept his heart of gold. Combined with his age, it earned him a second nickname. This time a more passive one, Grandpa.

Despite being on the verge of retiring he still trained hatchlings and watched them grow, keeping all those he lost in his heavy heart. However one of them stood out from all the rest. Her fire, her spirit, her very own sense of being was at its very core loyal, protective and serious. As his last student before he took a break, he took Anessia under his wing. Through training and what seemed to be an almost supernatural gift of strength, he watched in awe as she rose to the top becoming the Head Guard. Now that he is older, he sits back from the crowded clan and watches what he has helped to create. Proud of all the dragons and hatchlings he has gotten to know through the years, he couldn't be any more proud to be himself and those who fought with him. Although years of being Head Guard, defending the clan from the horrors of what lays outside can never be erased from his mind, he is at peace knowing the future is in good claws.
