Cerulian

Many dragons dismiss Cerulian as vain, shallow or materialistic, but he believes whole-heartedly in the power of beauty to uplift the soul.

Cerulian was born to Exalted dragons. The affair was elicit, the nest hidden, and the hatchling squirreled away to a clan that accepted the forbidden child into its fold with trepidation. When he was barely more than a fledgling, they urged him to join the ranks of the Lightweaver, to atone for his parents' sin. Frightened and upset, Cerulian ran away instead.
How he came to the Windswept Plateau is a mystery. They found him: battered, beaten, bruised--yet Erinys saw the beauty of his feathers and brought him home anyway. She took an instant liking to the young Skydancer, indulging him in everything. It was his taste for pretty things which inspired her to start a collection of art, jewelry, and fine textiles which he would look after and display. On special occasions, Cerulian takes charge, eager to present his adopted clan in the best possible light.
Then there's Alabaster. Reserved and mysterious, he turns bashful and shy when Cerulian smiles--a fact Cerulian often takes advantage of. There's more to it than that though. Alabaster understands loneliness, he understands despair, and he can appreciate the power in beauty. More than anything, when he's near Alabaster, Cerulian finally feels at home.
