Sunrise

He winced. He had never gotten used to the cold in the Icewarden's domain. He watched his breath puff out into the vast, empty room. The only light came from the open door, far behind him. The room itself was like a smooth, ice, box. He gingerly set down the itchy sac from his shoulder, incredibly aware of every noise he was making. The wary Pearlcatcher lifted the edge of the fraying sac one last time to make sure all was in order. It was. He turned and started to walk across the polished ice floor towards the entrance.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA..."
A hissing noise erupted from the ice, it felt like it was under his feet. The booming laughter bounced off the walls, pounding into his skull.
Sunrise's ears flattened against his head. He didn't dare speak or look at the legendary creature behind him.
"You've been making a lot of noise Sunrise, the other Deities want your clan disposed of..."
Sunrise shivered and looked at the floor.
"Make more noise in The Ashfall Waste."
What? They were outlaws there! He whirled around.
Nothing. There was no one there. The sac was gone too.
He sighed and shakily walked out.
The Icewarden had spoken, it was time to make some noise in The Ashfall Waste, among the Firebeasts.


His Leadership
No one had elected him. He wasn't even particularly intimidating. Something about the way he spoke, the thoughtfulness, perhaps the strictness, made you want to follow him. He was certainly intelligent, that was easy to tell. Though there was constant rivalry from Quartz no one truly wanted another leader. He had been born to lead, it was his destiny. Too bad the only dragons he could lead were uncooperative criminals who never got along.
