BIO

While Neried can see into the future, Dausris can see into the minds of other dragons, a skill that made him incredibly valuable to Itura. She took him in as a hatchling and raised him as her own, making him doggedly loyal to her. After all, she was the one who "made" him, as she said. "You'd be an outcast, if I hadn't taken you in," she said. He's an outcast even in the clan. Nobody wants him in their heads, but Itura and Neried are the only ones who didn't mind him being in their minds, hearing their thoughts. Itura stroked his head and told him she'd be there for him, no matter what happened, that she'd keep him safe. When the Crystalline Gala came around, she gave him a crown of ice to anchor himself in his body like Neried. It helps, but it can't prevent him from hearing dragons thoughts entirely.

Dausris was lost without Itura. Confused and upset. Incindia does her best to comfort the spiral, to shelter him from dragons who would gladly see him imprisoned for his remaining loyalty to Itura. Incindia made him swear loyalty to her, but it's not the same. He can tell she doesn't care in the same way Itura did about him. She doens't love him like her own, the way Itura did.
But Dausris dips his head, plays the part of a loyal clanmate.
