Emerald

Emerald glanced around at her surroundings, trying to find something, anything that resembled the ingredient she required in the festering scenery. She sighed, raising a clawed hand to her head, wiping away sweat from the heat.
A swift, cool and crisp breeze rushes past, as a figure leaps back up onto her shoulder. Emerald smiles at her familiar, before sighing. Still no sign of an All-Seeing Shroom? I knew I should have saved them up during Riot of Rot. She berates herself, before shrugging it off and patting her Gusting Goblin, lovingly nicknamed "Gusty." Gusty lets out a low chirp, before crawling to their spot on the back of Emeralds neck. They let out another chirp, letting Emerald know they're ready for lift-off.

She readies herself, before leaping up, flapping her wings hard. Soon enough, she reaches a height that allows her to see even more than she could from her previous location.
She smiles, and starts to fly in the direction of her clans lair. She manages to get about halfway there before she sees something poking out of a clump of decaying logs. She hovers before starting to move closer until she's directly over top of them.
A nocturne egg? She looks around, wondering why someone would leave their own egg here. She cant see anyone other than a few scouts from other tribes flying around here and there. She looks back down at the egg before scooping it up, and lifting herself back up, and flying as quick as she can to the lair.

The slightly smaller than average nocturne lands in the center of the lair about 10 minutes later, and rushes over to the nest area to get the egg into one of the many empty nests. The clan needs new blood, and a young one running around might lighten everyone's spirits, right? And Raven might want a kid, right? Since we cant have one of our own, this might be the best thing, right? She reasons with herself, before making herself comfy next to the nest, hiding the egg from view. She's closing her eyes as a familiar figure lands beside her.
"Em? What are you doing in the nesting area? I've been looking for you for the last few minutes!" Raven asks, before her mate smiles slightly, and shifts a bit.
Ravens eyes widen when they lock onto the purple hued egg.






*clearly the plague territory is hot and sweaty or how else would germs and diseases thrive?
*actually why does emerald get bothered by it shes a fire dragon
*maybe its a different kind of heat, like that gross sickly feeling
*yeah that makes sense. yet she isnt used to it despite being hatched in it?
