No one really knows where Lizard came from. He simply appeared in the lair one day, tidying up and acting as if he had always been there. Maybe he has. He prefers to keep to himself, and most questions directed toward him get vague non-answers, and if he does give an answer, it usually leaves the asker with more questions than they had before. However, if someone isn't trying to pry answers about his past out of him, Lizard is generally quite friendly. It's clear that he can't handle talking to others for long periods of time, but he does his best to be helpful when he can.

Occasionally, the pendant Lizard wears around his neck can be seen pulsing softly, gently glowing red against his green fur. When this happens, Lizard is seen less and less around the lair, only to reappear as if nothing had happened a week later, cleaning the lair and humming softly to himself. The only thing that would hint that something is wrong is he was caught, once, saying something to himself when his pendent first started glowing with its unnatural light.
