A Demon Born
In the beginning, it was dark and cold.
And this cold was so fierce that it burned. And in this cold lay a demon. It was a small demon. And her name was Echo, for she was afraid to speak other than to echo commands given to her. And she followed those commands, until the day she met another demon. She was nobility, a demon princess. And to Echo, she was the most beautiful thing in the world. So Echo made plans to meet her. |

A Demon Loves
She entered the coliseum, where
the princess watched fights daily. Echo was weak, but stubborn. She fought in that ring against other, larger demons. Demons with horns and extra limbs and control over the elements. After winning so often, Echo became the fan favorite. So much so, the demon princess visited her in her cell. After that night, when her duties were done, the princess made her visits often. And they fell in love those nights. |

A Demon Runs
One night, the princess was followed by a
member of the royal court. He became enraged with the love between the noble and the slave. He opted to have them both thrown into the lake of fire. It was only the princess' quick thinking that saved them from eternal torment. They stole away to Sornieth, stealing the bodies of two dragons they'd found. And so, they lived out their dragon lives in peace. |

A New Home
She and her mate picked out names for each other. Echo loved the sound of the river, and Dapplemoon looked like the moon dappling on the leaves. Romantic and silly, they hid in the shadow territory until summoned by Ametrine. The summoner fae only escaped because the young couple decided they lived the new flora-infused venue, and decided to stick around. Ametrine has no control over RiverEcho. She won't let anyone control her again.

A Leviathan
One morning, RiverEcho felt a strange sensation. A longing for something which she wasn't sure. Her Guardian body sought it's charge though it's mind was taken over, and she was forced to follow. She eventually found it on a ship over the water territory, in the sailor's horror stories of a leviathan made up of thousands of emperors beneath the sea. That part of her knew. This abomination was her new project. What she protected. What she would gleefully unleash in the world.

A Familiar
She found her Lavabourne Hoax on her way back to DappleMoon after finding her charge. It turns out that the bear represented an underwater volcano near the Leviathan's lair, one that would create a limnic eruption to release it once the time was right. Until then, she and her charge and her noble love collected imperials to sacrifice to Leviathan below Leviathan Trench. She tries to ignore the fact her love is also an Imperial.
