Unlike his mate, Fen isn't much for talking. In fact, many dragons would guess that he's never said a word. But he has the same intelligent look in his eyes that Maple does. Whatever the two of them are planning, he won't be quick to tell.

While Maple is the ringleader of their small function, Fen handles the more day-to-day business of it. Most often he is crunching numbers and taking notes in a small notepad he carries. He is also the go-between for the caravan and the tundra clan, as Maple is often too busy to meet with them herself. Though he is silent, he communicates via scribbling out short messages on pages of his notebook. He also manages their coatl hirelings, doling out their share of the profits and seeing that their needs are met.

His silence combined with a constantly dull expression makes it hard to read any sort of personality off of him. His face does light up ever so slightly around his mate, and even the coatls don't have anything bad to say about him. Nonetheless, it's hard to shake the feeling that he and Maple are up to something.
