B I O G R A P H Y

Main Theme: Problems by Mother Mother.

______ Marco was born to a large family of healers. As the youngest child he was often overlooked, cared for by his siblings as much as his parents and desperate to distinguish himself from his siblings. Being unable to perform exceptionally or poorly enough to distinguish himself the attention starved Pearlcatcher ran away from home. Selling his services as a Healer in exchange for food and a place to stay the naive young dragon was bullied and taken advantage of by dragons that manipulated his desire for attention. As a dragon with a massive amount of empathy Marco couldn't bear to see anyone in pain and offered his services, often for free, to any dragon that needed them. It was through his tender heart he first met Frank, patching up the Guardian after they were injured in a back alley brawl. Frank was brash, confident and in charge, all the things Marco wanted to be but was too afraid to try. Even more shockingly the Guardian was the one to give him the attention he craved, demanding the pearlcatcher stay with him and provide healing indefinitely. With the protection of the burly Guardian Marco found his healing services become a legitimate business until he could afford the breed change he wanted to make an entirely fresh start.

______ A long time friend and partner of the reckless Guardian he has had his training in field medicine and potion making in trying to repair the Guardian's wounds after they recklessly charge into yet another fight. Despite his best attempts he can seldom dissuade the belligerent Guardian from fighting but will always be there to patch him up afterwards. Marco prefers not to be the center of attention, it is enough for him to be there to help when he is needed, but he secretly wishes he could be more confident and views himself as a loser. In fact he worries that no-one needs him and clings to Frank and his tendency to pick fights as someone who will always need him. He has no idea what someone as strong and cool as Frank sees in someone as worthless as him and lives in constant fear of the Guardian realizing how pathetic he is. His familiar, called Sprinkles, is a gift from Frank.
