Proud, noble, and meticulous. Kaito is a dragon of few words and a critical eye, his training rigorous and firm.

His piercing eyes betray his calm demeanor, like a roaring blaze inside a glass house.


ABOUT

Kaito is the leader of The Firedancers, a traveling troupe of fire mages who put on dazzling performances all across Sornieth. Together with his wife, Nalani, they keep the ancient tradition of firedancing alive. An almost-forgotten history, firedancers were the mages of old who created protective barriers and performed purification and warding rituals. Nowadays, the dances are mere embers, remnants of days long gone by. Aside from Kaito and Nalani's family line, few are able to fully purify lands. That is, until Haco was found. Kaito and Nalani both felt it on their tour through Cinderslag: the aura of a powerful fire mage. To their surprise, he was not much older than a hatchling. For years they watched over the little skydancer, waiting for the day he would venture out of his nest and seek them.
