Young Inexperienced Reaper |
Anniversia (Anni)
"Did you see me do that, sis?! Wasn't I amazing?!" No one knows a thing about Anniversia. Except Mortica, perhaps, but she won't slip a word about it. A while ago, the young reaper eventually showed up besides Mortica, and introduced herself as Mortica's newly assigned underling. For a reaper, Anniversia is a carefree, playful being, who loves hanging out with the dragons of Tali's clan. Whereas Mortica is a very disciplined reaper who barely speaks, the young Anniversia is all too happy to chatter with the clan, and often reveals some things about reapers that really aren't supposed to reach the ears of any mortals. For instance, she revealed that it is a bit of an honor-code amongst the reapers to collect one bone of each of their "victims", to remind themselves every day of their job, and what their task in life is. They have no obligations to wear these bones, however most reapers tend to wear the bones of their first few victims, while stashing the rest away where they live. Which is why she is covered in bones, and basically lives upon a massive bone pile. She also explained that her skin is so much lighter than Mortica's because she's so young. Apparently reapers supposedly have a very dark hide, in either shades of jetblack, or bloody tones. According to Anniversia, most reapers are born as purely white entities, and gradually turn darker the older they become. The clan thinks it's weird for such a cheerful being to have such a harsh task. They're unnerved by the fact that Anniversia is covered in bones, indicating all the kills she has made. Yet they don't let it get to her and treat her kindly. After all, she wouldn't harm them, right? They also gave her the nickname "Anni" as it's easier to pronounce. According to Mortica's vague descriptions, Anniversia is an all different person while on the task. Her carefree attitude being replaced by the mindset of an assassin. But then her inexperience tends to kick in and she's really clumsy, failing to do exactly as she's told, and Mortica often has to end up finishing the job. Anniversia considers Mortica an older sister, rather than a mentor. She feels a loving, sisterly bond for Mortica, but Mortica doesn't seem to return these feelings, although she isn't too bothered by Anniversia's love for her either. She spends most of her days with Mortica, gazing over the world, looking for their next victims. Unlike Mortica, however, she gets bored by gazing like that all day, so she flies down to the clan from time to time, to play around like a normal, mortal dragon would. Name is derived from "anniversary" since she's my bday ID dragon.
