Sulwen did not fall for Spiritdawn at first. She could not, at first, stand them. But she had to work with them to aid her former clan, and one thing led to another, and years later she found herself venturing through The Tangled Woods to find her mate. She found a strange, distorted shell of them instead. And here, a gap. A break in the story she will tell no-one of. But sometime in that gap, she left her life as a priestess of the Tidelord and settled with Spiritdawn in the Waste, where she is now a weaver in Clan Ashbright, creating fabrics that deny all rules of logic and physics to be sold. She loves The-One-Who-Is-Almost-Spiritdawn almost as much as she once did them. It is- must be - enough.
And if anyone notices the mark of the Tidelord that lingers even now? Well, they know better than to mention it.
