"And to where shall we go now, hmm? The city beckons."

Foolhardy adventurers lurk in the Foxfire Bramble, searching for a worthy tale to tell around the clan's campfire. Yet there is one abysmal cavern, nestled deep in the thorns, which renders even the most intrepid of dragons petrified. It may have something to do with the mysterious magic causes even the strongest of torches to flicker out on approach… The entrance has never been found, only a small fissure through which dragons can peer. Daring dragons resort to huddling around, hoping to catch a glimpse of what dwells deep within.

One sleep deprived dragon claimed to have seen the inside of the cavern in the last seconds before dawn, when the Bramble was darkest. What they saw haunts their dreams: thousands of skulls - dragonkind and other – discarded upon the ground, stripped of life. One particularly deluded dragon believed that the cavern contained rare jewels, having witnessed a flash of white for a mere second. They set themselves to hammering the stone, aiming to create an opening, only to be sent shrieking. They claim to have seen their home in flames and heard the tortured screams of their family and friends. Hysterical, the fortune hunter scampered back to his clan, only to find them well.
The cave’s resident is perfectly aware of the mania surrounding her (dubious) existence. Morrigan retreated to the Tangled Wood to escape the restraints of day to day life and boredom in the Southern Icefields, not to become a Bramble legend. However bothersome, she cannot disregard the irony in the situation. The adventurers are so captivated by looking at her junk chamber through the vent that they haven’t managed to find the cavern entrance. It’s no wonder that they believe the cavern to be as deep as the void.. the vent surely doesn’t offer much visibility. It is true that she dabbles in dark magic, but it is only to fulfil her constant curiosity. She has no cause to direct it at any dragons.. unless provoked, that is. Her appearance may be startling – gloomy feathers contrasted by radiant, turbulent purple wings – but she wouldn’t change it for the world. Maybe for some peace and quiet though.
