cyrus is like a ticking timebomb, just waiting to go off. sure, he's cheery and helpful enough - but dear plaguemother, so much pent up energy. he was born with a strange, mutant gene that caused his belly and claws to glow green; adding a sickly glow to his pearl, as well. even the most devout of plaguelings have to wonder about him. "what in the world is wrong with that cyrus boy?"
he enjoys being with lillian and aether, even if he does get a little annoying sometimes. annoying to lillian, at least - is there even a dragon that could annoy aether?? lillian insists that if there is, it's cyrus. his mutant gene also caused some uncalled for bleeding, hence the bandages, but his wounds haven't reopened since he was just a youngling - he mostly keeps the bandages for aesthetic, now. the same goes for his cobwebs - "jeez, you forget to bathe for a few days, and suddenly you've got a whole spidery family living on you."
practically the only thing cyrus is actually good at is making clothes, be that by dying them or weaving them or sewing them - cyrus loves making clothes. usually, these clothes go to other people rather than himself - he really should rectify that; almost nobody wants to see him naked. people joke that he was 'dropped as an egg'.
