Biography

[NAME ACROBAT
“A spotlight shines down on me and I become the disco ball of the circus, my movements as sweet as the music and the crowd swaying to my dance.”
His scales shimmered and sparkled many different colors, like flowers on white white snow. Your eyes would ache if you looked at them, but they swirled with a strange mesmerizing beauty. His face was kind but his warm orange eyes sparkled with intelligence. A flirtatious smile splashed across his face, he read through the many dusty scrolls in the great library. The walls stretched up far, a skylight was at the top of the building but it was starting to become dusk. Only the flickering torchlight lit the room, and the crackling fire. It wasn’t a normal library, nor was it a silent one whatsoever. It was a celebration.
Many dragons ran around the room, it was havoc. There were dragons each color of the rainbow, Faes fluttering around on butterfly-thin wings and Skydancers doing fancy loops in the air. Chandeliers hung from the ceiling, delicious food was laid out on long, velvet draped tables. He sat there by himself, a little lonely, just waiting for someone to come over. He was starving for someone’s attention, though he was quite enjoying his scroll. It was on other types of dragons, of course, for he watched and talked to them a lot. The handsome dragon sighed, his claws picking at the old paper. His heart caught as a pretty Skydancer approached from the corner of his eye, but he waited silently for her to come up to him. She wore a white dress, scattered with gold flecks, and winged golden sandals.
“Hello? Is that scroll that interesting?” Her tone dripped sarcasm, but in a light-hearted way.
“Indeed it is,” He replied, but rolled it up as he spoke. “However you are more, beautiful.”
She laughed a little, her scarlet shoulders shaking. “Oh, aren’t you quite a flirt. A heartbreaker, perhaps?” Her brown eyes narrowed.
“Not at all, unless you happen to fall in love with me,” He forewarned. She snorted with amusement and rolling her eyes, dismissing the acrobat’s words as if they were nothing. The Skydancer looked up and down his painted scales, wondering at his colors.
“Why are you so bright?” She asked curiously.
“I’m an acrobat.”
“What does that have to do with colors?” She looked confused.
“Everything,” He replied, resting his head in his talons and smiling up at her.
“How?”
“Sweetheart, colors define the acrobat. A spotlight shines down on me and I become the disco ball of the circus, my movements as sweet as the music and the crowd swaying to my dance. I flip and twist, wings a flash and tail a blur as I nimbly maneuver in the air. You should catch one of my shows, darling.” He winked.
“I wouldn’t miss it for the world,” She promised.
