Starshine's pretty lonely. Her mom Ghost has helped her a lot with feeling better and friends help a lot too. Starshine has support, and that's one reason she knows she's not ignored, even if she feels that way sometimes. Also, she loves to write creative stuff, usually romcoms. Her writing is actually hysterical, but it's not likely you'll read any of it. Or understand it. The last person who read it laughed so hard they spent weeks in the hospital and couldn't remember what they were even laughing about because it was one of those in the moment things. She hides it very well. Whatever her accomplishments are, her mothers are proud.

She studies the bones of the skeletons found around the Hewn City. She doesn't study how they change over time, but instead, what they once belonged to, and how they relate to the history of the city. She's found a wide variety of dragons, beasts, and other, still more mysterious skeletons from creatures she cannot recognize. She wonders if any of the odd skeletons of the creatures she's stumbled upon have anything to do with the city's perpetual dark, but there's little evidence to support this theory. She'll just need to keep looking.
