Bijou came into being as a Guardian. From a pair of parents that had no parents of their own. She liked to think of her parents as breathed into being by the Shadowbinder for things unknown. After a little time in her original clan she was gifted to another. While she missed her parents she viewed the change as a chance to find her place.

In her new clan Bijou was blessed by the Windsinger and transformed into a Spiral. No longer was she a bulky dragon, she was now a twisty, lithe dragon with excitement for blood, or at least that’s what it felt like. It wasn’t long after her blessing that she decided to use her excess energy in the Coliseum. Her success at healing the dragons she worked with earned her a new gene, gifted from the dragons in her clan...

Just when she was starting to forget what it was like to be anything but a spiral Bijou was once again blessed by the Windsinger. This time she was transformed into a new breed.

Bijou accepted being a Skydancer, welcoming the change and less energy. She felt graceful in this body and no longer did she feel the need to burrow into things. To celebrate her second blessing, something that no other dragon had received for some time,

Bijou’s clan gifted her the option to change her scales. She finally settled on her secondary and tertiary colors being the same, and quietly sat in the clan, enjoying watching members come and go. Eventually the last gift of her clan came, a new gene for her wings, Current it was called. Time passed and she decided that it was time to move onto a new clan as her old one was changing all around her and she wasn’t.

She found a new home with Clan Thuja , in the Viridan Labyrinth. She was showered with welcoming gifts, acquiring an accent to decorate her scales among other things.

Bijoux is one of the Council of Eleven. This Council consists of one ancient dragon from each flight.

Keeping her history here because it's so neat and I want to work it into her story and not forget it. :)

Started out as a basic gen 2 guardian that I received from a friend way back when the site first opened, coming out of a prog pair that only had two hatchlings before she quit.

After that I saved up to turn her into a spiral, gened her with Iri/Shim/Gem, and she raised through the ranks in the coliseum as a healer. Around the time the Skydancer breed came out I turned her into one of them and kept using scatter scrolls on her until she became the perfect X.Y.Y (which back then was super rare), also this was when the scrolls were glitched so she came out of a lucky broken scroll. I also regened her secondary when Current came out because I just thought she'd look lovely with it and since then she has been quietly sitting in my lair since then.
