Ardast

Ardast was one of the two original dragons of the clan' a progenitor. She seems rather cold, only accepting dragons that will bring success to the clan into her 'court'. The continuation of her bloodline is a priority and all of her young get the best of the best. However, she is not afraid to scold her kin, and is often seen lecturing her daughter about her frivolous spending.

She has sworn to be loyal to her mate, Cuprite, the other progenitor of the clan. He helps calm her down and reasons with her when she is being to harsh. A devoted follower of the Gladekeeper, she gives gifts often and makes sure that the forest in her territory is as healthy as can be.

Her daughter has convinced her to take more and more dragons into the clan, taking Ardast on trips to the Auction House and picking out particularly beautiful dragons. She has become more open minded as a result, even allowing a Plague dragon to stay in her clan. She is good friends with the matriarchs in other clans, talking and exchanging gifts with them often.

Over the decades, she has become more and more paranoid that something will destroy her bloodline. Due to this, she has 'hired' several guards that patrol the borders and follow her descendants at all times. Any dragon seen as a threat is taken away and 'dealt with' before an incident occurs.

However, ever since her 'metamorphosis', she seems a bit quieter and less confident. The loss of the strong connection with the forest being a fa brought her has hit her hard as she finds herself unable to perform magic she used to be able to do easily. She is honoured however, by the 'gift' from the Gladekeeper, and now partakes in hunts with other members of the clan.
