Hello friends~,
My name is MrSnuggles and I have just arrived at The Obsidian Realm. I am here to get ready and packed to start my new job. I will be helping out with spreading hugs and cheer throughout the clans. I hope that I can help out as many dragons as MrHugs. I have met many of MrHugs’ friends here and they are helping me prepare for my journeys. The clan’s greeter and party planner, Glinda, is good friends with MrHugs and has taught me everything I need to know about MrHugs’ travels. Now that I have given out many hugs and snuggles to the dragons of this clan I am ready to move on to the next clan.

Hug Log: Entry #2
Date: February 2nd, 2016
Lair: Redfoxling (The Folia Domain)
Today marks my first time in another lair!
Once I arrived at the entrance of the Folia Domain, a tall tundra greeted me with a smile and welcomed me. Her name is Sprintie, and she is the leader and founder of the clan. Some others greeted me too with hugs and pats on the back. Two kind coatls showed me around the camp, their names Fleur and Felis. I was impressed by how many beautiful plants they had grown, and I hope to see them again. As I glanced upward during the tour, I saw spirals twirling in the sky, faes making nests of sap and twigs on a great pine tree, as well as a striped coatl and two of her hatchlings flying on the fluffy clouds. The coatl family dashed downward to greet us and offered a soylent green, the other parent slowly approaching with a smile. I decided to share the soylent with a few broken hearts--The only egg Prim had owned failed to hatch. She said she left the poor thing in a small puddle in the Gladeveins, close to the Everbloom Gardens, where it can rest. Prim told me that maybe the reason her egg did not hatch was because she would've been a bad mother. I comforted her with kind words, plenty of hugs and a bit of soylent, which she almost refused. I reminded her that it is bad to doubt herself and that she would have been an excellent mother. I could see the tears welling in her eyes but decided not to say anything. I understand now that the void left by her missing hatchling would and could never be patched up, and when she is reminded of Aster and her three kin, she grows a bit envious. Just as night was about to commence, a jolly snapper called Angel decided we would have a special feast. I must say, his baking skills are quite exquisite! There were many soylents, in which we decorated with icing, sprinkles, and gumdrops. Not to mention, they tasted absolutely delightful. The time spent here was quite an experience and I hope to help much more dragons into the next lair!

Date: February 10th, 2016
Lair: LunarEcho (Ragtag Refuge)
I have arrived at the second lair in my travels!
It was quite a hike, but I made it up to the frigid place this clan calls home. The first dragon to greet me was a very eager Wildclaw who introduced himself as "the great Papyrus, head of the clan guard." He proceeded to gladly accept one of my hugs and instantly proclaim himself my "best and coolest friend", then led me inside to meet the rest of the clan. The lair was a little cramped, as this clan is apparently constantly growing, but they had managed to make enough room for me to have a comfortable stay anyway. Inside were many dragons of every breed interacting, telling stories amongst each other, joking, and sharing their individual talents. It seems everyone here has quite a story to tell if you'll take the time to listen, especially the travelers like the Wildclaw known as Who and the Fae who goes by Winter. The clan itself is made up of a strange and wonderfully diverse mixture of wanderers, lost ones, outcasts, and mysteries, and takes pride in being a safe haven for anyone who needs a home or simply a place to stay the night. The clan leaders, a Tundra named Aedan and a Guardian named Ebrilla, greeted me personally, and seemed glad to have me here. A few of the clan's members seemed a bit antisocial - not too much so for hugs, I hope! There was even a Tundra named Balli who looked almost exactly like Mr. Hugs, just one gene off from looking just like a female version of him, (I'm told she's great with hatchlings and loves to hug, too). A Coatl named Arbora and a Wildclaw named Theia both showed me around their impressive gardens, (I was surprised by just how much they had managed to grow in this climate,) and Arbora told me to feel free to snack on the plants in hers. The clan's doctor, a Skydancer named Ubercharge, checked me over and then introduced me to his flock of pet birds, and I met Papyrus's lazier brother Sans. I also got to take care of a cheerful little ball of sentient slime for the duration of my stay. I tried to hug a Spiral the dragons here only refer to as Bread - turns out she's not much of a hugger, she squirmed and snarled until I let go and then just kind of slithered away. The Skydancer named Zamji didn't say a word, but something about her just told me she could use a friend, so I sat with her and had a sort of conversation (can you call it a conversation when one side does all the talking?) then gave her a big, fuzzy hug, which she didn't seem to mind at all and in fact seemed to welcome it. At the end of the day the clan had a great meal, cooked by multiple members of the clan, but mostly a Tundra named Sabori, one of the leaders' three children and an excellent cook. All in all an excellent stay, and I can't wait to see what I encounter next in my journeying!While in my lair, Mr. Snuggles also donned some of the clan's spare apparel:

Date: February 14th, 2016
Lair: Felox (Airborne Abroad)
This Valentines, I will be visiting the fourth lair in my travels!
Althougt it was quite the walk, I must say it was worth it! Airborne Abroad is a large clan residing in the center of the Starwood Strand, hidden in the beauty of the trees and other wildlife. I had just begun to draw closer to the clan grounds when a large Imperial crashed through the brush, nearly bumping into me. Teagan was her name; she had come to find and guide me around the grounds so I didn't get lost. She told me she and her mate had only laid one egg, and that she couldn't wait to see me, so she came out to find me herself. I comforted her, giving her a big fuzzy hug just before stepping into the clan. Tall, glowing Starwoods could be seen for miles upon miles! Heart shaped flowers and streamers were hung around for Valentines, it was glorious! I was almost instantly surrounded my Coatles, LOTS of Tundras (who were also very glimmery like I was) and other assorted dragons. A large Skydancer approached me alongside a small, purple Fae. Felox, the Skydancer, had taken over the clan after Airborne had moved from the Driftwood Drag and continued to grow. Thistlewing, the Fae, explained to me all about the clan's lore and how he stepped down from position as leader. After we introduced each other, I and many of the other tundras ran off to enjoy some comfort time. Raindrop, a very beautiful tundra, offered me some apparel, while another tundra named Marcelious had a very nice pet dove. Upon noticing it, he chuckled and allowed her to fly over to my shoulder. They draped silks and ornaments onto my wings and back, how thoughtful! I spent the day viewing the nests, playing with familiars, and comforting many distressed dragons. Sunset was drawing nearer and nearer as the entire clan gathered around a fire in the middle of the lair, and munched on snacks that I and a coatl named Alyssum make. A hefty tundra bounded over to us with his familiar and a guitar. He played a soft tune for us which slowly turned fast as I was pulled from where I was seated by some VERY strong snappers. We all gathered up in a circle, two dragons bouncing around in the middle before switching out with another two. I jumped in the middle with a familiar who'd passed by and danced with it, holding onto it's front paws. The Starwoods had begun glowing by now, and a good number of dragons had gone to sleep. I layed in a patch of flowers next to the familiar I danced with, staring at the marvelous show of stars above me. I wish I could have had that much fun everyday. I will definitely try to visit Airborne again some day.

The dragons of the Durusilex Clan seemed very loud and very busy, so I sadly didn't have much time to get to know everyone, but all the dragons still welcomed me so nicely and one of them even drew a portrait of me in my favorite sweater! How sweet!

Lair: NekoTheKat (Culture Clan)
Hello! Mr Snuggles here!
I have just arrived at the Culture clan and have seen many friendly dragons. Like a very pretty spiral named BubbleGum and another she dragon who was a coatl named Raven. They all introduced me to the dragons in this clan] and showed me their gardens, familiars and hatchlings. I then went with them to share story's of their recent clans and what they have seen. They seemed most interested when I told them of a story from one of the clans I have seen. One of the hatchlings said hi as I was writing this. A nice mirror asked me if I wanted a tour in the clan. I shook my head and told him that BubbleGum and Raven showed me the clan. He nodded and said "My names BrownScales if you need anything I can help you." Then walked away. I really love this clan even though I just came into it. Everyone seems so warm and welcoming. There was a lot of chatting about eggs in this clan too. I must say good-bye to this clan now. I loved everyone here and wish them a farewell.

I just arrived to a new lair!
I just met some really nice dragons here, all really friendly and nice! I became a really good friend with the clan leader, Violeta. I just started with my new work, it's pretty fun taking care of the young dragons here, I am teaching the young dragons here how to hunt and all those things but the most important one is to have fun!. They're all really organised and help each other a lot around here; I made lots of friends - for example SilverStream and Brulee. I really don't want to go, they promise me I will see them again some day. I hope so because i made lots of friend here! Also, they still don't have a name for the clan, maybe I should help? :D

Lair: Azeira (Clan Dreamscape)
After quite some time, I am back to my travels!
It is very beautiful here, and the air constantly smells heavenly, full of starwood blooms and smells of spice and sweets coming from the kitchen. I was greeted first by Spire and Nebula, the Clan leaders. They led me to my room, gave me some purple fins and a colorful tail accessory to wear, and gave me a giant spiky turtle to play with! They also eagerly accepted a big tight hug from me too. I think the apparel looks great! I have attached a photo of the outfit at the bottom of this entry. The turtle, Diver, introduced himself as a Crystalhide Jester and proceeded to tell me a joke. It was terrible. After teaching him a few good jokes, it was time to get down to business! Some were shy about it, and some were embarrassed to do so, but I gave everyone a big long hug within the first day. Even the reluctant ones walked away grinning, though I doubt they'd admit it if accused. One Skydancer, Axis, held on to me quite a bit longer, and buried her muzzle deeper into my fur. Even without being a Skydancer, it was obvious that she was quite deprived of affection. She was too shy to ask, so I invited myself into her nest for the night, to which she blushed and agreed quickly. I told her a story as she drifted to sleep, curled against my tummy, the one my mother used to tell me. She was very warm, I didn't even need a blanket. When I awoke, she was gone, off for breakfast as I later learned. I soon noticed that my chest was wet with tears, right where she had been pressed to my side. She'd been crying. There's a story to be told there, but I didn't ask, we just moved on without saying anything... she refused to meet my eyes for more than a few seconds, despite accepting more hugs. I'll surely come back one day, especially to see Axis. But for now, I must be off to another lair.
