Diamond

Unlike most ice dragons, Diamond is a fiery hothead who had a difficult youth. Born in the Southern Icefield from a family living in the Starfall Islands, he was lost during their travel back home due to an unfortunate incident involving Talonoks. He wandered for weeks before landing near the border of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, where he was found by Wanda, who asked Gaelle to take him in.

When she met the young dragon, the matriarch agreed readily, welcoming him into the clan. Though he was wary at first of those strangers claiming to be his new family, he changed his mind after a few months and is now very protective of his adoptive siblings and parents.

Since he's been separated from his birth family, he is very wary of all Beastclans - including Marens, which whom the clan has a story of cordial relationships - and hates Talonoks. It doesn't change much, though, since his temperament is not suited to ambassador duties...

Among the clan, he is very close to Wanda, who acts like an older sister to him, Plume, his daughter, and Malachit, who took a liking to him and enjoy going on long flights with him over the Wind territory, when the Windsinger and the Tidelord are at peace. He likes to imagine that one day, he'll go to the Starfall Islands and find his biological parents...
