"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one."

Tialbold has a reputation throughout his clan as being perpetually happy-go-lucky. Always a joy to be around, he is always radiating positivity. Though he sometimes complains like any other dragon, he is far from pessimistic and can point out the silver lining in nearly any situation. As an extrovert, being in groups of dragons and socializing give him energy. He is an engaging talker and quite the charmer; he even lets himself get away with a little playful flirting every now and then. In spite of this, new dragons make him a little shy. A stranger is ultimately a friend he doesn't know very well, but it can take some time and warming up to the new dragon before he can consider them a friend. That being said, it's very easy for him to make friends.

Although he does enjoy socializing, Tialbold is not a slacker when it comes to work and training. He will go out and fish with all the other fisherdragons in his clan. Once his tasks around the territory are complete, he'll then begin to practice the healing aspect of his arcane magic. He is reliable and trustworthy, a gift that many others find admirable. He is deliberate in his actions and not prone to recklessness. He tends to shy away from conflict—especially physical violence—when he can. While Tialbold worships the Arcanist and has an interest in the stars like any other Arcane dragon, he is also not opposed to adopting the customs of other flights, if he's introduced to them and likes the idea behind them.

Ever since he was young, Tialbold has had a gift: he has always been adept at using his arcane magics to heal. This was first seen when he used his magic on Tiphareth, his childhood best friend, after she had painfully skinned her elbow. Tiphareth was so happy to have the minor but painful injury healed that she told her parents. Word spread quickly throughout the clan, and soon the parents of especially young mages—especially other Coatls—were begging him to teach their children.

Although very flattered, all the attention was overwhelming for Tialbold. He often expressed this to his sister, August, with whom he was very close in to his childhood. She was the one who had to tell their excited clanmates that while Tialbold was talented, he was not an expert. Their mother and father, who knew that this could be useful for their son later, decided to cultivate his abilities by sending him off to a new Arcane clan to find a mentor who would take him on as an apprentice.

Tialbold was a little sad to say goodbye to his family, especially August. Since he moved away, they began to grow distant. Still, a new clan meant new experiences to discover. And having Tiphareth by his side were sure to make the experiences all the more exciting and meaningful.
