And all the Finns snerk. Yes, "Sohvatyyny" means couch cushion. That's what female coatls look like to me, sorry.
Sohvatyyny is one of clans alchemists, a bit of a mad scientist really. She's in charge of various odd Baldwin-inspired recipes and creatures. Her mate Firetiger started of as her assistant but has gradually gotten more responsibilities and sometimes even manages to stop some chemical induced explosion from happening. Clan tolerates the occasional explosion or run-away experiment, after all Sohvatyyny is a genius and no great inventions have been made without trial and error (and property damage).
The dragons talking at Sandcrawler and Claylurker bios are Firetiger and his mate Sohvatyyny. They are responsible for both of their transformations.
Capsule gene:
"You....you have liquefied your insides! You're gonna dieeee! We need a healer! Do we have one? Ezekiel perhaps, or Blaze....don't move I go get them!" Younger alchemist (he had stopped being an apprentice some time ago) was in a state of panic. With coatls this meant shedding. Fire red feathers were floating around the workshop.
Sohvatyyny looked to be remarkably well for someone supposedly suffering from liquefied innards. "Please settle down, I was just careless with this new experiment...I actually I feel fine...sort of....bubbly. No need to alarm anyone just yet, let's run some tests first. This might be useful mutation."
(Let's face it: with the careless handling of chemical these two coatls are famous for...this was bound to happen sooner or later)
