Backstory
Tiandi's egg was found by Smoke, sitting just inches from a stream near the lair. She quickly rescued the egg and brought it back to the clan, to be raised by Hyra and Kaz. Tiandi was the baby of the bunch, having hatched several days after his three adoptive siblings. He was a timid and uncertain hatchling, always hesitant to try new things or meet new people. He relied heavily on the support of his adopted sister, Neith, who encouraged him whenever he needed it. Tiandi was especially susceptible to the angry tirades of Hecate, but Neith always managed to get them to cooperate. While he was still fairly young, Fin attempted to get him interested in ecology, but after Tiandi spent most of the outing playing with dragonflies instead, Fin concluded that Tiandi would do better as an entomologist. Tiandi does very little experimentation, but he does enjoy studying and interacting with insects in their natural habitats.
Personality
Tiandi is timid and socially awkward, and he quickly freezes up when presented with unfamiliar situations. The one subject he will talk about for hours on end is bugs. He refuses to eat insects (they are his friends) but holds no ill will to the dragons that do. Like Hecate, Tiandi struggles with some feelings of abandonment, but his manifest as insecurity rather than anger.
