Foliage just wants to know what makes things tick/ From an early age, he loved nothing more than to take things apart, study every minute detail, and put them back together. Now fully grown, he has turned his love of mechanics into a profession, inventing little gadgets and gizmos to help the various citizens of Silverwick. Of course, it would be best if more of his inventions actually worked. Foliage has a tendency to think a bit too extravagantly when it comes to his designs, and they often end up being too overcomplicated to actually work as intended. Still, those inventions that do work tend to be widely well-received, so he is allowed a workshop attached to the archives. His efforts have made some improvements to the temperature control in the archives, protecting the delicate manuscripts and artifacts from the supreme cold of the Southern Icefields.
