He hatched amidst the failing light of the day and grew in the shadows of the domain. He felt a pull towards Clan Willowbrook and arrived one day after a great storm. He aided in the clan's rebuilding and became close to Selene over time. He became her mate and was given the title of Lair Mother's Champion after she took the title of Lair Mother herself. He aids Selene in her duties and supports her in however way he can.

ETYMOLOGY - The name is directly taken from the Latin word for "evening." RELATIONS - Mate - Selene, Daughter - Etherea CHARGE - His charge is Willowbrook but in manifests itself as Selene since he is aware that if Selene falls, the clan will fall with her.

*as the visitor wanders around the courtyard, they get a glimpse of a large dark scaled guardian moving towards the entrance to the lair. Following, the visitor finds a touching scene as the male guardian has a tender moment with the lair mother Selene. He has his wing over her shoulder and they cuddle quietly for several minutes.* *To give them privacy the visitor stays back, taking a seat beside a pillar and out of sight of the two. It seems that the male guardian had been delivering some food or something as he leaves a package with Selene before giving her one last nuzzle and heading back to the lair.* *on his way back the guardian notices the visitor and blushes, realizing that the scene before might have been scene* H-Hello there... umm... You saw that didn't you? *he shuffles over to the visitor to talk to them properly* It's not a secret that I'm Selene's partner... It's just a little embarrassing still when someone sees that kind of thing. *he shyly rubs the back of his heck with his claws* I guess... you wanna know some things about me. *he clears .his throat and continues* I kinda just found this place on my search. At first I stopped here just to rest, you know give my wings a rest, but then I just didn't want to leave. I didn't realize why at first, but then I just realize that I wanted to protect this place. And then I started noticing her... *he blushes and makes an awkward gesture to the entrance where Selene is.* I kinda fell for Selene, hard and fast. The fact that I was a coward didn't help me at all. Selene was just so beautiful and it was hard to... just go up and talk to her. I just started guarding the gate along with her without saying anything. *he smiles* Then one day a storm stumbled over the Midnight Forest and the rain fell heavy. So I gathered my courage and went over to Selene and put my wing over her to shield her from the rain. *he puffs his chest out* And then she put her head on my shoulder. We stayed there and I was the happiest dragon in the world. *behind him a voice says laughingly* I thought I was the happiest dragon in the world. *Vesper spins around as Selene giggles* *he sputters* Selene... you... you heard that didn't you? *she nuzzles him and starts to move back to the gate* Of course I heard it. Now are you going to come spend time with me or are you going to be busy all day. *Vesper looks at the visitor and then Selene, then he looks at the lair and then at Selene again. He is torn for a moment before nodding to the guest* Hope you have a good day, I'm sure you have a good time in Willowbrook. *he smiles and goes over to Selene, sitting beside her while drapping a wing over her shoulder. The visitor just smiles and wanders to another part of the castle.*
