Avorio

The Gardener
Tends to the Royal Gardens

Since joining Clan Naturnalia, Avorio has earned his place in the royal palace. He came to the Clan as a modest gardener from the Everbloom Gardens in the South, answering a call posted to the local trading post. When he first arrived, the Gardens were a mess, the paths hidden beneath weeds, the plants wilted and weathered. The trees were wild and their branches unwieldy, blocking any sunlight from reaching the poor plants below. The King and Queen of the Clan were unsure if the Gardens could ever be restored. But under Avorio’s careful guidance, the flowers bloomed, the leaves unfurled, the stems lengthened. He was like the sun, bringing joy and love to the plants, until they reflected his joy and love back. He had transformed the Gardens from a sad, neglected thing into a glorious display to rival the Everbloom Gardens themselves.

Avorio’s work impressed King Beauregard and Queen Fluffy, and his grace charmed the Royal family. After a brief consultation with their daughter, they invited Avorio to continue his work to restore and decorate the rest of the lair. He was glad to be of service. As he continued his work, he caught the attention of General Cirrus; the two quickly became enamoured with one another. It was not long before the General proudly announced him as her mate to the King and Queen. From there, the King and Queen began doting on Avorio as if he were a favourite relative. Their welcoming warmed his heart, and although he did not ask for any reward greater than these jovial relations, they paid him handsomely for his diligent work. He was humbled by this; but he was also pleased, for he could now afford the fashion style he had always dreamt of.

Avorio’s loyalty to Clan Naturnalia cannot be broken. He is often left in charge of the Clan management as well as entertainment when guests arrive, in addition to his duties in the Gardens. His favourite time of day is just as the sun sets, lighting the sky to a rose-gold fire and casting a delicate lacework of shadows over his Gardens, matching his apparel perfectly. In his free time, Avorio can be found hosting tea parties in the gardens with freshly-baked goods and herbal teas made from the very plants to which he tends.
