Biography
Moonhollow - Liminal phenomena / entity / ????
Background
A Liminal entity of some sort. It / they are by no means a dragon in the truest sense, and it is perhaps odd that such a reality-warping creature had decided to stake it's claims and make it's home in the Viridian Labyrinth rather than in what would be a more adjusted spot. Something that can warp and bend reality to it's will should naturally just be found either in some proximity of the Starfall Isles, or perhaps the Tangled Wood.
This creature figured that they'd be better off hiding out in the labyrinth as it is deceptively a inhospitable and tumultuous place. They had, at one point in their time here, stayed at the Fortress of Ends, having been caught and guarded closely. It was startling that they made such a clean escape and getaway, perhaps in part due to their ability to simply slip in and out of reality at will, but a getaway is a getaway.
The Gaoler Ibiliven was keen on trying to bring them back. They chased them far, farther than they would have thought for a Gaoler. Ibiliven was more loyal to seeing this task through, than to even the Icewarden, and the Icewarden did not like this subordination (even if it did accomplish his goals). Ibiliven was stripped of his ice alignment and much of his powers upon leaving Ice territory, and through sheer stubbornness, determination, and the uncanny hardiness that Gaolers posses (even stripped of their powers), he would not give up the chase.
Eventually, this led them, and Ibiliven by extension, deep into the Labyrinth, as even a Gaoler on the verge of wasting away was still hard to shake. She had tried many times, and many times did Ibiliven simply not lose them. The Gladekeeper was keen on capitalizing on this, as something as hardy as a Gaoler that wasn't under the command of the Icewarden was an incredibly rare thing. She pulled him under her retinue and gave him his newly found nature alignment and powers under the condition that Ibiliven contain the Moonhollow phenomena to the paths less traveled in the Labyrinth.
They had come to settle in there simply because at that point they wanted to settle down and try to sustain themself, thinking that it may be best to bide their time before trying again to shake Ibiliven.
About
They are a parasite by nature, draining the area they inhibited of any sort of magic. Functionally The phenomena comes in two parts. The first part being the entity themself, being a creature that can utilize their ability to bend time and space to create liminal spaces.
These liminal spaces are functionally the second part of the phenomena and are somewhat like pocket dimensions that they can use to either contain things or to draw sustenance from. They feed off of magic, both that of dragons and the elements, but also ambient magics that just exist in the environment.
