Pele was sold off to the auction house a short while after she was born, at least, she thought. Her memory was a little fuzzy, but she distinctly remembers after hatching there was a lot of red. She found her way to the Wisp-Willow Enclave shortly after and soon became friends with the Mirror sisters that fought in the Coliseum.
On one occasion when the sisters brought her along, Pele stumbled upon another abandoned Nocturne they had almost mistaken for a flower. The sisters brought the two back and Pele promised to protect him while he recovered.

When the other Nocturne finally was healthy again, Pele discovered that he acted a lot more feminine than the others like him. He explained that he was thrown out of his previous clan due to his bright colours and female nature. It was then Pele promised that as long as she was with him, she wouldn't let any harm come to him.

As of now, Pele and the newly-named Mille are an inseparable duo and are never seen without one another. Pele still keeps her promise and makes sure Mille is always alright.
