Odon is a grouchy Imperial who dedicates his life to the study and care of insects. He owns several hundred different species, and has named every specimen. He is very protective of them, and is extremely careful when handling any of them. He has shown no interest in finding a mate, preferring the company of his Croaker familiar and his six-legged companions. Like his father, he avoids physical violence, but has no problem with loud quarrels like the ones he frequently has with Bloom, the clan insect catcher. Odon loathes the idea of insects being eaten, and steers clear of the clan's insect-eaters unless he is arguing with them about whether or not insects should be part of their diet. He has also tried to rescue the insects in the clan stores on multiple occasions, but is a poor thief and is always caught.

His familiar is a Blackwing Croaker named Trithemis Festiva, named after Odon's favorite species of dragonfly. Trith is genial and curious, and probably the only non-insect that Odon would call his friend.
