Biography
Antrepo was one to find joy in his work, if only because it was part of his daily dosage regimen for the start of every day. Like the mysterious unseen forces that founded the emotions courier service he worked under always said "A thankless job does not equate to poor work effort. Work. WORK. WORK AND ENJOY YOUR EFFORTS. ENJOY. ENJOY.". He was happy to have the job he did, in fact, Antrepo can't remember a time he was unhappy...or out of work. He has always had this job. Always. It was a very important job too. How else was anyone to experience emotions if he didn't deliver them? Let alone the countless times he needs get one sentient being to feel sad or angry for another sentient being. The most often case being giving them sadness so a being who has passed is allowed at least one person to mourn them.
When he found his way to Sornieth, Antrepo was appalled at the state it was allowed to function. These sentient creatures were allowed to regulate their feelings on their own? How did they function? Who mourned the forgotten or fought with anger and purpose for the lost? NO. This wouldn't do at all. In fact, their unregulated feelings seemed to bleed into the air; affecting him as well. Something had to be done to fix this madness. First of all would be keeping himself in check. Thankfully a self sustaining collection of older (but still usable) stick-on emotion tags would work to keep the pep in his step as he went about fixing this mess. Maybe now with a reason to use them, Antrepo could make a dent in their ever multiplying numbers. Second on the list was to find a way to make sure all the beings of this world would not be able to see him. Though he still existed on a separate plane of existence than most, some almost seemed to follow his movements with their eyes. Thankfully they could not communicate with him, but that'd have to be fixed eventually. Perhaps a motto made by the city council would suffice if left within viewing distance. While he rarely interacted with the physical realm, he was more than capable of doing so. Yes, that would do. Breaking two stones with one bird as it were. No time but the present then, the joy of his work would start now. Starting with his first message, a reminder really, painted onto the lair wall of the first denizen that attempted to communicate with him:
"If you see something, say nothing, and drink to forget."
Bonus: Antrepo's name is an anagram of the word operant which means "involving the modification of behavior by the reinforcing or inhibiting effect of its own consequences (instrumental conditioning)"
He 'collects' Otherworldly Children as silent helpers to his cause, though it is unclear where they come from or where they stay.
