Becrux

"We've been laying low for long enough!" Becrux stated. "For over a year, we've sat and we've suffered. I'm through with this!" The other dragons silently agreed. They all knew he was right. The clan had grown large enough to take shelter significantly closer to the Arcanist, at the Focal Point. Here, the ridgeback flock that had attacked the Crystal Peak would have a hard time doing so again, especially since the peak isn't even the flock's main target. The flock searches tirelessly for the Thorn; the Crystal Peak was only attacked because it is an ally of the Thorn. "We can revive what we were! We can be dancers again. Singers. Actors. We shall step closer to the great Arcanist, and the ridgeback flock will pay if they dare return. We must return! We must return!" Becrux cried out. The clan set off into the forest, hoping all on their trip would go as planned. After many hours of trekking, the clan was lost. None of the forest around them had shown any signs of a changing landscape, and the clan was beginning to feel suffocated by the tall trees around. When everyone began to despair in fear of living like they had for the past year, when the blame had fallen on Becrux, a light appeared between the trees, faded by the night shadows. Follow it? The clan did, and they found themselves lightly stepping around unseen obstacles in a dark, dark portion of the forest. The sky was choked out by the shaded trees, and nothing, nothing was visible beyond the eerie, faint glow of the faded light ahead. The clan didn't talk. They hardly even breathed, for nobody wanted to create a stir in the silent night. They just wanted to follow the soft, dancing glow. Becrux awoke the next morning, visions of the light and sounds of the soft footsteps still echoing softly in his head. He turned to see the entire clan, slowly waking up from a deep sleep. The morning light warmed the chilly air, and the yellow-orange glow of the rising sun covered the rested dragons. Motley, having led the clan alongside Becrux, smiled as brightly as the sunrise towards the purple tundra. Becrux raised his head to observe whatever it was Motley was smiling about. There, the Focal Point stood, illuminated by the golden sun. The clan was back. Becrux is a teacher of the clan. He educates and leads the youth, along with his teaching assistant, the glowing creature that had led him through the woods. He is a happy, passionate dragon who loves to assist others and fight for what he believes or knows is right. Becrux is one of the first dragons Motley would call upon for backup when needed. A dragon with no instinct to fall into despair, his passion radiates from his fiery eyes.
