Soul

Death found Soul at a young age. The few memories of her life linger in her mind like a lucid dream - vivid and lovely, yet ultimately intangible.
The majority part of Soul's short life consisted of sleeping. Well, sleeping and eating. Those were memories of warmth and contentment, and the reassuring embrace of her mother's wings. She didn't know many dragons back then, only her Mother - though at the time she didn't know that the world consisted of anything else.

As Soul grew, sounds and colors started leaking into her small world. At first she hated them, squeaking in displeasure whenever they presented themselves. But Soul soon grew to love her new world, for it allowed her to experience the loveliness that was her mother. Even when pain and hunger started visiting, the soft sounds and smells of her mother where enough for Soul.
She loved her mother; loved everything about her. And as little as Soul knew back then, she knew that her mother loved her too. And that was enough for Soul.

Soul's death came in the wake of accident. Though she didn't know what was happening at the time, it was ultimately an earthquake that killed her.
