Traveling Mercenary
"A little death never killed anyone."

There is nothing quite like the stifling heat found in plague dens. The rotting meat, heat that almost causes the air to shimmer and quake with every blink of an eye.

It was here that Molten and Darius were born. Darius took on the gentle aspects of her mother, a more calming little spark. Molten, however, was different. The idea of spending her life among all her burning siblings had no appeal to her. Her frustration led to a scorched hide, blackened by the burn she felt to leave. With barely a word of goodbye to her parents or siblings, she grabbed all the items she could and ran. Her footprints burned into the ground, across the sand where glass blossomed forth. Her legs carried her west, burning a trail to the grasslands and moors. There she found a wandering clan of warriors and thieves, dragons who found no fitting place in a formal lair. She joined them for a time, pilfering and plundering the smaller clans of the area. She even snatched a familiar from a wandering dragon, simply because she thought it went with her colors well.

Over time she grew bored, however. Finding all these different clans had made her wish for a place to stay. Somewhere she could call a home of her own. So when she got the chance, she fled once more. Her flight led her straight into the clan of Seraph Helm, where she was reunited with her younger sister. Though Darius was thrilled to have her around, Molten made her uneasy. She had the peculiar feeling that her sister was incredibly dangerous, be it by the way her eyes seemed to watch the movement of every member of the clan, or the way she always seemed to be found in places she shouldn't have been.

This became even more of an issue when Molten started tagging along when the Night Garrison went out to defend the clan. She seemed to be watching their strategies, finding their weaknesses. Even the most brave of dragons were made uncomfortable by her dead gaze. It wasn't with much regret that the clan watched her leave, disappearing into the night almost as quickly as she had come. Perhaps she would find her own place someday, but for now she would continue to wander.
