Biography

Silvered looked back just once. His mom Rosvirein was waving with a smile but he could tell she was holding back tears. His father Sehlat said in a deep voice that was just a little too loud, "Make us proud son. Our paths will cross once again and we can pass messages through travelers." Mist took Silvered talon in his and gently said,"There are many new friends just waiting to see you in the Southern Icefields. And don't let it fool you, our caves are as warm as any Plague huts could be. You will be loved."

Because the trip was long Silvered climbed atop Nix the co-father of his new clan. The Guardian had already decided that this special young dragon was his to protect, to teach, to love. And so began Silvered's grand new adventure.

Silvered had been observing others walking through Fairy Circles and coming out . . . different. He longed to change his stripes, felt awkward having the stripes of a tiger when he was so much more sensitive and gentle. He decided to take a chance and set out to find a Fairy Circle and see what happened. He found one and stepped inside the boundaries. He felt all tingly and heard a tinkling of laughter that sounded like windchimes. There was a dusting of glitter everywhere. With every step the glitter poofed up around him, surrounding him. He was amazed at how big the Fairy Circle was inside as it was just a small ring of mushrooms on the outside. Finally his footsteps took him outside of the circle. The tingly feeling subsided and he just knew he was different from this experience. He went to the lake to see what had happened to him. On the way there he heard several gasps from his clan. He was not sure what that meant. Did he make a horrible mistake? Was he now a gruesome monster? He approached the lake slowly. He gazed into the calm waters and saw something amazing. He was the same type of dragon, the same colors even but oh my Icepop! He now boasted the spots of a giraffe, a gentle beast and he finally felt right in his own skin. He was happy he was brave enough to face the uncertainty of a Fairy Circle.
