ANGELA - messenger of God

Pledged to Sera

Bio - Yrsa's authority had never been much tested until she declared, after the clan's move to Dragonhome, that she and Ellisif had discovered a lost egg and would be hatching it to raise as the clan's heir. Amongst the ensuing debate and clamor, a Guardian daughter Yrsa and Ellisif named Angela was hatched.

The issue of whether she could lead was still in doubt even after she matured, not the least of which because she is a Guardian, and would inevitably leave to begin The Search. The loudest objector on those grounds was Sera, who'd seen how chaotic Yrsa's Search was (though she mentioned nothing about how much of that was her fault). This issue was resolved, somewhat hilariously, when Sera realized Angela was spending a lot of time following her around. Angela's Search had been perhaps the shortest in the history of all Guardians. Sera was gone on a journey while she matured, and, when Sera returned, all Angela had to do was lift her head from a nap and spot her.

Hierarchical drama aside, Angela's role in the clan is a simple one-- she keeps the lair from falling down. Between Sera's reckless burrowing, the strange subterranean labs of the Weird Sisters, Stigrun's massive observatory, and other poorly-planned additions, the previous clan lair in Wind was a safety hazard. Under Angela's diligent eye, the new lair is shaping up to be not only safe, but logically laid out.
