Arminaarsi,
Warrior Maiden of the Looking Glass

Determined, Couragous, Intense

Few things in life make Arminaarsi happier than defending the things she loves. Since the very first time she saw a warrior in her clan, she wanted to be like them. To protect something she loves and to be admired by those around her was her greatest dream. Tragedy struck at an early age, however, when a mysterious illness took hold in her scales turning her brittle and fragile. Many wondered how it came to be, with some wondering if Arminaarsi was simply unlucky and was born fragile. In the bright sunlight, she wilted and burned. When playing with other hatchlings, her bones broke. When she had reached adolescence she was already marked with hundreds of scars.

Despite the limitations placed on her by this illness, she strove to be the defender of her clan. Her entire dream was to defend her home and she would give it up for no cause. As an adult she remained just as brittle, but had learned to work around much of it. The wise woman of the clan found her skills and determination impressive and paired her with Iceborn as a trainee. Her training went well, going so far as to bring many members of the clan out to see her and Iceborn as they went through their daily routines.

Before her training was halfway through, the clan shattered into three distinct courts with the leader of them all unable to do much more than watch as her home crumbled before her. Arminaarsi tried to stay within the clan, apprenticed under Iceborn as she was, but the death of her mentor's young son had sent the imperial into a bitter sulk that often swung into rage. With no real place in the new hierarchy, Arminaarsi abandoned her training and picked up her Search again, seeking her charge wherever it may be found and hoping to be able to protect it with her half-finished training.

These are dragons who crave the light but wilt under the heat of the sun. On sunny days they hide in the Hewn City and when it is overcast they wait in gloom, but when the night skies are clear they revitalize and frolic beneath the moon and stars. Their lustrous hides are in fact very brittle, so any impact will shatter them. As a Lunarlit dragon grows their body becomes a web of scars. This does not prevent them from enjoying life, however. It is difficult to find a more jovial group of dragons than the Lunarlit when bathing in moonlight.
