Biography
Wealthy merchant, smuggler extraordinaire.
Terran is cultured and charming, well traveled and eloquent. His heart is made of solid gold, and his soul of finest silk. He does not seek the company of a mate, for no companion would fulfill him like his vault full of treasures. When he can't obtain what he wants by legal means, Terran is not above getting his claws dirty in the black market. As such, he is sympathetic towards other collectors of questionable antiquities, and has turned a tidy profit in rare artifact smuggling.
Despite his ambiguous morality, Terran is not all bad. He hates to see the mistreatment of others, and will on occasion snatch a hatchling out of an abusive home and place it with a loving lair. During one memorable trip through rural Sornieth, Terran's business deal was interrupted when the hostess began savagely attacking her timid wing maiden, Faranth (6395833), for cracking a chalice. It is not Terran's nature to hurt others in a righteous fury. Instead, he used his guile to dupe the abusive she-devil into trading away her fortune, as well as Faranth.
After taking a healthy cut of the assets, Terran signed the rest over to Faranth. He would have preferred to end his connection right then and there to the former wing maiden and sweep out of town with a dramatic flip of his cape as per usual. However, Faranth had been through a confusing childhood of neglect and abuse, but at the same time extreme sheltering and scrutiny. She was in no way prepared to function normally outside of her mistresses reign.
With great reluctance Terran brought her along with him for his next trading journey. Though he was younger than her, Faranth responded to him as a child would. She absorbed information and more importantly confidence and guile from Terran without him having to teach her.
Being quite beautiful, Faranth was a natural accomplice to Terran, and she integrated herself organically into his life as a high class smuggler. The fact that the two never viewed each other romantically made their partnership and business dealings together exceptionally lucrative. Despite this, the two eventually drifted apart. Terran is a leaf in the wind, ready to go where the cash current takes him. Faranth felt herself longing to set down roots, open a legit storefront and stop worrying about the eventual consequences of a life of crime.
Terran and Faranth parted ways amicably. They send each other the occasional gift, or even better, lead on a rare piece of treasure.
Wowza...goals.
