Biography

Clarum means clear in Latin.

One does not dare lie to Clarum.. he can see through any lie.. he knows the truth. He has the odd ablility to sense and affect the natural rhythm of other dragons. When another dragon lies, he can feel their natural rhythm become upset. This is why he was named Clarum. Wolfsbane has set him on a pedestal on the clan due to this unique ability, and he is highly valued by her.

However, when Clarum discovers a dragon is lying, he immediately snaps and his vision turns red. He shifts the other dragon's natural rhythm to match that of his own. This allows him to read their memories and learn everything there is to know about them, to discover the real truth. He will then use his new expertise of said dragon's life to manipulate the dragon further, enough so he can reach into their mind and create illusion memories of his own. After reaching into the offending dragon's mind, Clarum will create a powerful illusion of himself using his gembond like an infectious disease, and infecting said dragon with this disease. This places the offending dragon in immense pain. Clarum will then stand over the liar for three days, watching them suffer with a cold and unforgiving glare. Only after the dragon has sufficiently suffered for their crimes will Clarum allow the medical dragon to pass and heal the damage he has done to the offending dragon. However, after a dragon lies to Clarum, they are unable to lie ever again, because of the severe mental strain he put their body through, and the fact that he permanently altered their natural rhythm.

Only three dragons have ever withstood his unique attack, three dragons who he has been unable to influence. These dragons were able to maintain their own natural rhythm and noticed when he tried to change their rhythm to match his own. This is a very sore subject for Clarum and he doesn't like to admit that they were able to resist him. Another pressing issue is that these dragons are beings from another clan. He has been attempting to train himself to use his power more effectively so he might one day influence these dragons.
