Raven was the shy one. She was the one who would rather learn about the clan's past then learn how to fly. It took nearly all of Lark's patience to get her to even want to learn let alone actually do it. She and her brother diffidently shared a love of learning but Raven took her learning to the next level while Sparrow took his training further. She talked to the elders of the clan, learned of a time when Eagle lead the clan in a time of peace and posterity. She learned of Bird. The Clan's greatest fighter that had ever lived. She learned so much and only wanted to learn more. Raven often will leave the clan for weeks on end and wonder around to try and learn of other clan's histories; about other Flights. When she comes back the first one to always great her is Kei. She quickly became Raven's biggest fan. She loved hearing of other Flights, of histories. She too wanted to learn as much as she could and Raven let her walls fall for the female dragon. Dove is the other friend Raven has and mostly she and Dove are friends because they were the only three hatchlings in their group so they got very close very quickly. In some ways Raven feels like she's a third wheel when she's with Sparrow and Dove. It makes her wish she had someone who loved her the way Sparrow and Dove loved each other. Except at the moment she doesn't find anyone attrative and not many seem to be interested in her, save to get closer to her brother. (Which she hates and is most of the reason she only talks to very few) You know when someone is going to be the reason for something horrible and you just can't shake that you're supposed to stop them? Yeah, thats how Raven felt about Lyle when he first came into her clan. He seemed extremely stand off ish and she felt like if someone pushed him too much he'd start a huge huge fight. So she decided, against the little voice telling her to just stick to the people she already knew and ignore him, that she would talk to him and become his friend. Once she got to know him she realized that he was one of the sweetest dragons she had ever met. Only there was a big catch. Raven and Sparrow knew of their birth parents (both remembered them). Monster and Hunter were their names and Lyle hated them. He wouldn't tell her why, but she knew whatever reason was bad. So she didn't tell him that they were her biological parents. They eventually fell in love and to Raven's surprise they became lifemates. She didn't notice how strongly she had come to love this dragon. While nesting with their first clutch of three Raven crumbled, feeling horrible about lying to him, so she told him who her biological parents were and got very angry with her. To the point where he avoids her as much as possible and leaving her to protect their eggs on her own. Currently he won't even look at her or Sparrow. |
