Biography
She may not be one the strongest physically, but she's adept, versatile, flexible, and incredibly intelligent.
Daughter of Despondence and Lazuli. She was laid in a cave near the edge of Arcane's islands but her egg was snatched by an egg thief. Her egg among another was taken to Flamecaller's domain where she was sold and then hatched into a clan of warriors. Her mentor was a snapper named Giles who taught her patience, and the importance of taking advantage of her own inner strength.
She grew in the ranks quickly becoming a notable warrior, but known for her fierce temper and grueling training. Walking by a local market she encountered Kindle crafting exquisite armor, weapons and delicate jewelry she'd never seen before. There were many smiths she met before, and her clan possessed many, but none like Kindle. The guardian begrudgingly accepted Safira as an apprentice for as long as the guardian stayed in the area. Safira grew to love the guardian's sharp wit, patience, dry humor, and even the melancholy that surrounded Kindle. She never mentioned it to Kindle but the guardian was her first love.
Her clan, however, did not approve of Safira's shift in alliance nor approving Kindle; few dragons approve Kindle because of her critical tongue hot like the coals that fire the furnace.
Safira left to follow Kindle through one of the Guardian's long treks throughout the Ashfallen Wastes. She was welcomed by Kindle's home clan, the Raven Guard. She quickly became one of the many mentors to train dragons interested in becoming warriors or fighters of sorts.
Erin, her mate:
Initially displeased by Erin's quiet and eccentric nature, he slowly grew on her. They first began as lukewarm acquaintances, where first Safira was jealous of the attention Erin received from Kindle. Safira learned, as hard as she tried, smithing did not fit her. She was patient, and earnest, but the metal would not bend the way she wanted. Erin calmly, and gently accepting Safira's brashness, and struggle to fit in. Over many years this continued where Safira became less high strung, and more accepting of the demons she'd been fighting over the many years. She helped Erin become confident with himself. The two eventually became a mated pair having many children who often followed the footsteps of their mother as a warrior. Some followed the path of their father or others followed other paths but all felt Flamecaller's summons.
Safira continues to train, with Armageddon, the lost, wandering or abandoned souls that stumble upon the Raven Guard. She no longer has grueling training, and often grimaces when remembering her more uncouth years. She's better at crafting, mostly adding small filigree accents to swords or other objects.
She is gracile, but still firm and fierce. She still has a habit of speaking her mind when the situation calls for it.
