Friends turned into enemies, smiling at us while their claws crawled over our paniking chests, up up to our throats.

Amenirdis never understood why she and her siblings were kept hidden by her mother. Everyday she heard many noises from outside of the 'Klamm', a cleft dug deep into the Rotrock Rim. She heard them talking and laughing and sometimes screaming. She holds her pearl dearly, hoping that one day she can be outside in the light too.
